A malfunction in your heating and / or hot water can be very annoying. Depending on the type of heating in your home, there can be various causes.

If your rent is including heating, you may contact us.

If the water pressure is too low, the central heating unit may not work. A normal water pressure is between 1.5 and 2 bar.

If the radiators are not getting warm, it may be solved by bleeding the radiators. Please check: youtube.com/watch?v=r48NgOTBxSA

Has topping up the water and bleeding the radiators not helped? Please first check whether:

- the water pressure is sufficient (between 1.5 and 2 bar) on the pressure gauge;
- the room thermostat and / or boiler thermostat is sufficiently high;
- the pilot flame burns; if that is not the case, try to light the pilot;
- a code appears on the display (if you have a modern boiler with an electric ignition, a code appears in the display in the event of a fault. You can then press the reset button on the front of the appliance);
- the plug is in the wall socket;
- the main gas tap / appliance tap is open;
- the fuse in the group box is complete;
- the hot water taps do not leak.

If you have locked yourself out, you can call the number listed on our website during office hours. The cost for this service is € 25.00 and will be at your own expense.

If you lock yourself out outside office hours, you will need to contact De Sleutelspecialist at phone number 058-2128824. The costs for this service will be entirely at your own expense.

Keeping the inside sewer of the house clean and unclogging it if necessary is your responsibility as a tenant. The landlord is only responsible when blockages occur in the main sewer (the riser) or when the blockage is caused by the architectural situation. In case of a blockage, you can engage a plumber yourself.

Check if there are any reported issues or outages in your area. Ziggo: ziggo.nl/klantenservice/storingen/, or KPN: kpn.com/service/internet/problemen/postcodecheck.htm. Both websites are only available in Dutch.

In case of any internet problems, always try to switch off/on your modem/router first and wait for 30 seconds. After turning on the device, wait for at least 2 minutes.

Your rent payment must be received on or before the 1st of the month. Please include your address and the month for which you are paying rent in the payment description.
